Ralph Steadman at the Haight Street Art Center in San Francisco

Cartoonist chum, Kevin Brady, gave me a heads-up that the relatively new-Haight Street Art Center was to host an exhibit of the work of grandmaster graphic-satirist Ralph Steadman. Moreover, Steadman would appear in person for a conversation (and for free). I thought that last part must be a mistake but that wasn't the case. Kevin and I went Tuesday night and listened to Steadman casually chat during a slide show with curator Anita O'Brien.  Very cool. And a great show.

The Ralph Steadman Retrospective will remain at the Haight Street Art Center until January 20th, 2019 before moving on to other venues.

The Ralph Steadman button handed out at the reception
